In a high risk equity environment, our investment philosophy is to buy companies for much less than their intrinsic worth, mitigate the risk of significant erosion of principal and still seek significant upsides.
Crescendo is one of the very few, or arguably the only investment advisory company to operate on an only performance-based fee model with an aggressive hurdle rate of 10%.
Simply put, the first 10% of annual returns go to the client. Returns generated above 10% are split in 4:1 ratio between the client and Crescendo respectively. Further, our advisory fee is subject to a high water mark i.e. we have to be at least 10% annualized higher than the previous all-time portfolio high for any fee to be payable.
Crescendo will not recommend investments in any kind of speculative or leveraged instruments like derivatives, futures & options, margin trading, commodity trading or indulge in short-sales etc.
